Bill Clinton, Hilary Clinton, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy said that Hussein was a threat and had nuclear weapons.   Just to clarify: I am down with this video. I don't support this war, but I sure as hell support the troops and their families. Believe me, I DO NOT mean this as any sort of partisan jab, but the national debate would become far more constructive if some people on either 'side' of the whole issue would realize two things: some on the left need to stop realize the difference between the military and militarism, and some on the right need to realize that criticism of war policies does NOT equal criticism of those who sacrifice and suffer the most for poor judgement on the part of our leaders.   I have commanded U.S. Paratroopers and indiginous militia forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan and am still fighting hard for our country; I hate partisanship and both political parties equally (go General Washington!, go Bloomberg!, go Governator!, go Teddy Roosevelt Bull Moose Party!!!) . I think, however that this web-site and the videos produced are the best examples of what our Country's young talent has to offer. Nobody in Hollywood is producing stuff like this with this type of message. This particular video really makes me proud; the others are equally as great--good use of catchy music, lyrics, and well produced videos with very attractive people in order to achieve political commentary.   loved the video, but it's easy to get emotional and nationalistic and forget about the background and the reality. it's sad the guys and the gals have to be over there in the first place, and as many US soldiers that are over there, there are almost as many private armed contractor ("mercenaries"), some of which are from south america (among them former Pinochet soldiers recruited by Blackwater), and some of which are russia afghanistan veterans,
  
  some of those non-americans are abused by their poverty, and risk their life for a war we ent into based on lies for $38/day, the us corporations that have contract with the government are essentially using one third world nation's former soldiers against another undeveloped country's people, for a war about money and oil, and we're paying for it, what is it, $267/month/person.

  Thanks for the "Support the Troops" nature of this video. I appreciate the intent of those that support the troops, even if they do not support the current administration's policies.
  
  Please keep in mind, unless you've been there, or routinely talk to people that have, your have a very limited perspective on the policies and the progress of the war in Iraq. Your beliefs and viewpoints are shaped by various media outlets that nearly all have a common theme - they disagree with President Bush and the war.
  
  I work with military officers, all veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, every day. A significant majority of them will tell you what you see on TV news outlets and read in the nation's papers does not truly represent the progress being made.
