It's amazing what entertains some people. I guess it's still better for hardcore haters to have this sort of catharsis....rather than going out and physically assaulting an old lady.

Funny because O'Reilly is often pompous and rather full of himself, whether one agrees with him or not, and needs a bit of lampooning.  Not as funny as it might have been: it's mostly jokes about appearance and apparent lack of intelligence, not anything that really hits home.
