The Yes Men staged a phony press conference today at the National Press Club.  During the event, a member of the group pretended to represent the Chamber of Conference ("assistant to Mr. Donahue") and announced that the Chamber was officially reversing its position on climate change and would now work to curb humanity's role in the changing envoronment. Actual news agencies took the bait and reported it as fact.

As a piece of pure impostering, this one is remarkable.  Not only is the faux-conference belivable, but it also forced the actual Chamber of Commerence to publically and unequivacably defend its anti-environmental stance.  This is what we in the industy call "being made into a grade A LOL cow."
