When a political race is close, the best thing to do is make a commercial that links your opponent with Tom Cruise/Scientology and prison inmates getting pedicures (duh).  That’s exactly what Nevada GOP U.S. Senate favorite Sue Lowden did to attack her fellow nominee, former Assemblywoman Sharron Angle.  While this commercial comes off as blow to Lowden (for supporting prisoner massages), it’s also pretty hysterical.  

FYI:  According to the Huffington Post, the facts are that “Angle never formally presented a bill, but she did try to gain support for a prison drug rehabilitation program that would involve prisoners quitting drugs cold turkey, with saunas and massages as part of treatment -- an idea promoted by the Church of Scientology.”  Of course, Lowden’s version is funnier.
