I Did Great Last Night!

Did you see me up there? I think most people walked away from the Democratic Debate last night knowing that I clearly outshined every candidate on that stage. I started out strong, with a swift jab to the front runner, but remembered to keep my pacing and peppered each candidate with well-meaning, yet hard-hitting questions. Not once, did any of the candidates catch me off-guard or cause me to lose my footing. Some people might argue that this was because I was the moderator and not an actual presidential candidate, but there will always be a small contingent of nit-pickers and nay-sayers. Late last night, during my third viewing of the debate, I really took notice of how mesmerizing my gaze was. I couldn't take my eyes off myself. A few times I just paused the television on my own face and stared deeply into the screen. My hair was perfect. I don't necessarily think the debate as a whole was all that electrifying. The candidates kept droning on about immigration and healthcare. Fortunately, the producers kept careful watch of when viewers were starting to lose interest. They quickly cut back to me and gave the audience what they wanted: another glimpse, however brief, of the Wolfman.
