Best Early Political Campaign 2008 Videos
I thought I should give a nod to part one of PoliticsTV's 2008 Web Video Odyssey, which began with George Allen's use of the "Macaca" slur.
Since then, it's been great to see how the presidential campaigns have tried to keep up with the pace of new media, announcing their candidacies online . . . and sometimes making horrible (and funny) gaffes. The campaigns generated internet content like John Edwards combing his hair, gringos speaking Spanish, and Giuliani talking about abortions and in drag. (They improved with Mike Gravel's "Rock" commercial and Hillary Clinton's Sopranos spoof).
It's been an exciting year, and we at BarelyPolitical can't wait for more to come!
